At HPA, I take care of process and project management in the area of digitalisation. I’m mainly an advisor for in-company customers and have to keep an overview even in a complex context. The Port of Hamburg is changing just as much as the entire world economy. Which is why we want to set the course with bold innovations.
The biggest challenge for me is planning meetings with the various stakeholders. The job frequently offers great experiences of success – most recently in process management with hydrography. During a workshop on the survey vessel “Deepenschriewer II”, we modelled organisational processes during the ship’s operations. HPA is a really multifaceted employer with various fields of activity. The jobs here are just as diverse as the port itself.
We bring together the most innovative minds to ensure the Port of Hamburg also sets the tone when it comes to technology. We are re-thinking the port. We are not a start-up. Why should we be? New things are created where people have time and space for intellectual play. And because we do everything we can to renew our port, we regularly look beyond the horizon while respecting tradition.
For your job, this means:
A total of 1,800 jobs across 7,000 hectares of port space offer the right working field for everyone.
We bring together tradition with change to find long-lasting solutions.
Where each individual can let their strengths unfold is where everyone goes further together.
